clear tail lights
greetings i've made some clear taillights for my first gen and thinking about making them to sell....depending on the response. i have created some equipment to help produce these lights but will only make them if wanted, and time permits..this was a very timely and tiring exprience that i would only duplicate if it is worth it..let me know what you think.

not trying to burst your bubble but noones gonna buy these when there is a guide how to make them and it costs like 7 bucks to make

Thank for the info... i had made these in St.Croix for the first time in 94, and was help by another rotory head...just didn't have the time to make a set for myself...thanks for the link though..and the support ...
not all people like the same thing...i hate red meat but most people like it and eat it everyday...and we wonder why we stay sick...
on another note not everyone has the time or patience to make there own lights, just trying a little thing....u kno...but once again thank you for your opinion(s).

Well, it's really tough getting FIRST GEN owners to buy these. The people that DO like them tend to not want to spend money on them. So people like you, me, and BKM are screwed out of a lot of potential business.
Maybe ThriceRx7 will chime in here with his S5 style taillights (I think he removed those, though)

I have smoked tail lights, I used window tint spray paint paint for models. I took the plastic covers off (I broke one, and I had to buy a new set ) and sprayed the insides with a couple light coats. It looks completely black during the day, but you can still see a lot of light through them at night. I have a daytime pic; the white crap is from getting buffed.

Double Ds for me to share
I used the same set of instructions to build a set for this car and a set for my wifes brothers 1st gen. A lot of time goes into making them but it is far cheaper to build them yourself. Plus you get to say that you made them yourself. Here is the link to my car domain site i have pics of them turned on and with them off. You can see them clear as day at night but its a little harder to see the brake lights on in the day when the sun is pointing at your rear end. Other than that they are cool as hell.
