12a Custom Oil cooler line help!
hi i am in the process of putting a 12a out of a 82 rx7 into a 72 Vw bug. one of my oil cooler lines has a kink in it so i need to replace it. i was wondering if i could use these adapters

and build my lines using regular hose insted of braded line to cut on costs.
Thanks

I personally wouldn't trust a hose clamp to keep the oil line on there. I'm sure it would be fine but I wouldn't take the chance. Besides, braided line looks sexy.

I would take them to House Of Hose. They will use the fittings and make you some new hoses.
I had them make some for my car, i think they are good up to 300 psi.
and they look nice also.

Read this thread in the archives. It covers making custom hoses.
