12A Carb Disassemble Question

Taking apart a spare carburetor that came with my 85 RX-7 in order to prep myself for the main rebuild. My rebuild kit came with new Float needles and needle seats. Most the interior bolts come off with little resistance but the needle seat is incredibly tough to remove. The material is soft so if deforms with added pressure and once it's marred you can't get a grip.

I've been using a flathead screwdriver for the other bolts of the same type. I also used some PB Blaster to loosen up the threads with no success. Any suggestions?

Do not use the new needles and seats because they will have problems. Keep the old ones unless they are falling apart or damaged. The new needles and seats do not work well and bind causing the floats to not move freely.

I'll have to see what condition the old one's are in, I'm actually trying to solve a flooding issue. Thinking it's either stuck floats or faulty air vent solenoid.
