I want to send my t78 out to be jet-hotted coated. How do i seperate the exhaust from the compressor housings? Is this safe to do and necessary before sending it out. Of course the savings in weight is a bonus.

 

Just loosen the bolt on the clamp in the middle of turbo....and remove the clamp...then the exhaust half would come loose......just be careful you don't damage the wheel....
