12A or 13B

Well guys should I rebuild the 12A motor in my 85 rex or drop in a 13B?

i like smoking someone then telling them i have a 1.1 liter engine under da hood, 1.3 would hurt their pride but not as much as 1.1

Odd words from a rotorhead... guess those huge displacement V8s are better eh? :p

Just put a carbed 4-port 13B in it.
The 13B feels so much torquier than a 12A it isn't funny.
With a carbed 13B, you won't have to adapt any engine wiring, either.

hornbm, do you have the carb installed? How's torque for you compared to the stock FI intake?

FI is more responsive than a carb, but I do not like working with the wiring involved with FI

I ask because I went from a Weber 48 to an S5 intake with a Haltech and I'll never go back. The engine has much more low end without sacrificing any top end, and I've got the secondary ports open all the time.
