i also notice the S1/2/3... these are face lift between years aka 83.5?

now the fb gsl se i am looking at has a E in the vin. what does it mean? according to Felix's vin decoding, there's no E, what gives?

sa refers to (at least in the u.s.) series 1, being 79-80. sa's are savanna's

fb is series 2 and 3 (2 is 81-83 and 3 is 84-85)

 

Yea, in US the SA is 79/80, everywhere else all first gens are SA's. Savanna's are JDM only from what I remember. Not sure about the E in the vin.
