Talking Stock Fuel tank out and gone for good...

So I just got the stock fuel tank out...filler neck...and all lines back there...In the tank i was able to take the fuel out of rx7 tank and put that gas into my truck that gave me a 1/2 tank...and with gas prices going into $4 that was a huge relief on the pockets...lol...more pics coming

Getting ready to cut the wheel well out and make it flush up on the top side...

Q #1 it looks like that you have painted lexan on the inner side of the sunroof, to cover drainage flange. did you actually do it or its just a picture. If yes- what kind of paint did you use. in the past exparience i've had problems adhering krylon to acrylic without sanding the surface first?

Q #2 What thickness is the material?

Q #3 Is it possible to use wipers with lexan, or is it plastic-safe to treat the surface with rain-x to reflect water?

Q #4 How did you obtain S4 water pump adapter as pictured?

...amazing write up with lots of information. good luck

i can answer the lexan questions i installed it all.

yes the underside of the sunroof has been painted to cover up all the uglyness under there.

its 1/8" lexan

no you can not use the wiper blades with the lexan they will scratch it. and rain-x would eat the lexan so no.
