I don't think he was bidding many times, he just had a $100 max bid.

I got sniped on a part a couple weeks ago and I emailed the sellers to see if they had another one. They sold me another one outside the auction for less than the bastard sniper got it for. LMAO

Off topic..

Do you use any software for sniping? Or just wait and do it manually?

It's pretty cool how a strut bar doesn't do much of anything but add weight on a first gen anyway.

nah he was bidding alright... as soon as some would outbid him he would go and place a higher bid....when you have the max bid it wont go in the bid history when someone try's to out bid you. if the guy has less of a bid, it will only reject it.

That is one of the most ignorant comments I have seen on this forum.

But, it is better to also connect the bar to the firewall.

Perhaps he meant that in a comparative sense, it doesn't do much because the bar is just between the strut towers, without connecting to the firewall like the RB model.

Strut bars do help. It would work better if connected to the firewall.

I was getting them from an outside supplier who was experiencing lengthy shipping delays. It wasn't worth customers waiting months, then taking their money back after I'd already forwarded the money I'd received from them to the supplier. He'd get paid, they'd get a free part, and I'd get screwed over.

I see. Well I can understand that for sure. SO, basically I can Ebay an FC bar and just fab/change the mounting plate to work? I am going to do this I believe. Anyone know the length between the front strut towers on a 98 and up galant? I got a bar by accident from ebay (was supposed to be a bar for 98 and up ZX2) and never sent it back.
