good motor?

i have an extra 12a out back that i was able to break free and know that i need to listen to 3 swooshes from each rotor. but when im rotating the flywheel how many rotations is one revolution of the rotor? and when i do rotate the flywheel there always seems to be a spot the is a little harder than others is this because the compression is better on that particular face of the rotor thatn others during the rotating?

1 full rotation should bring 2 swooshes, 1 in front and 1 in back

He means 1 swoosh from each rotor per revolution of the flywheel.

yes. the easiest way to do it is to sit the engine on the flywheel. then when you spin the engine you know exactly where the the rotation starts and ends. so each rotation will turn 1 apex seal in each rotor. so 2 compression strokes with each turn.
another thing to do if you havn't done it is check the apex seals through the exhaust ports. when i got mine going i had 2 seals that were pretty much stuck with not much spring left. i used amsoil power foam and doused those 2 seals. then i took a little stick and kept pressing in and out on the seals till they lossened up.
good luck.

what does is mean if you cant get the apex seals unstuck and why do they get stuck? is it just carbon build up that makes em stick? also how gentle do you have to be when trying to unstick them through the exhaust port?

well, they are made of something hard. iron or steel, i'm not sure. i believe it is carbon build up and maybe even rust that gets them to stick. it took awhile for mine to unstick. i just kept spraying and pushing on them till they had spring in them. used spray oil also.

**** if you blow a apex seal while driving you mean to tell me that half of that thing will be trying to be compressed and spit out the exhaust....... ouch that would suck anyways i have checked and touched all six seals some are stuck and some are good and i just bought amsoil pwerfoam and tipped the motor on its ignition side and with a 2x4 keeping it an angle and used about half the can in each exhaust port and am going to let it sit. how long is too long for that foam to sit in the motor????

wel i had 3 of the 6 seals stuck now after some persuasion i only have 2 left i was able to move them in the rotor more but i cant get them unstuck from the rotor i have run out of amsoil powerfoam and though maybe some gasoline would loosen some **** up is that okay to use?

Gas isn't going to do anything, but it's not going to hurt anything either. Best bet is to get another can of some Powerfoam and foam the **** out of it.

don't set it on fire. took me 3 days of soaking and playing with the seals to get them good enough to work. have you tried spinnin the egine since you been working on the seals? see (hear) how the compression is doing. gotta admit i got tires\d and when mine were doing better than befor, i chanced it and stuck the engine in. got it started and been runnin ok since. i say ok cause it's just a stock engine with crappy power( to me of course). i'm gonna rebuild it real soon to get a good feel. actually pullin an 84 engine to hopefully use instead of the running one. cause i like to have a spare just in case. good luck. and if you wanna set it on fire, i'll trade you on with a broken apex seal and you can set that one on fire. ha ha. i'll even let you use my gun and shoot it while it's on fire. that might look cool.

nah im just playin around i couldnt set it on fire i got the car for free and when i junked it i had to get in contact with the original owner who told me that the motor had been rebuilt about 6 years ago and after i cleaned it up i didnt see any leaks on the outside the only thing wrong with it is the stuck apex seals 2 of them i was able to push in so if they can be pushed in they arent stuck but just stubborn on comming out im sure they have been hybernating in those little rotors for quite some time and i just need to bring it back to life. as far as you having a spare so do i in fact i have 2 one of which is in excellent condition. cause unfortunalty you never know if you might caugh up an apex seal.
