yeah respeed!

I ordered my respeed rack and pinion conversion yesterday and am pretty excited about this. Just bought my rx7 a few months back and the steering was all jacked up. After doing some research on the cost of rebuilding all of the steering components it wasn't a whole lot more expensive to just buy their kit. My car is definitely a huge project car but making it a beast to drive great it step one for me. It already has a RB intake and carb and a full exhaust (crappy press bent but better than stock) so it runs pretty good in a straight line. It already has tokiko blues, respeed coils and a gsl rear end.

Sorry, I thought that this might go in non-tech but figured that it would eventually be technical once the kit shows up and install progresses.

Man, I'd really love to have one of those. I can only imagine the difference it must make...

It's such a good kit to have, I drove a car with one once, and it handled(felt like at least) like the Lotus I have also driven.

I hope you got the quick ratio, it's pretty cool, but both racks are the most superior steering options you can really go with.

I've got one with 15:1 ratio. The only time I regret the quick ratio is when parking, otherwise the sharpness in every other situation is great.

I did get the quick ratio. I am not going to be getting much opportunity to park with my car. It isn't much of a street car so its not going to be making any daily duty.
