The only way to really get all the details out of a digital photo is the above 2 factors (.5 only for low-light shots )

Cheers! The camera is a 10 megapixel Lumix GF2. The two main factors in the image clarity there is 1) Shoot in RAW format 2) Edit RAW images using software (I use Lightroom). and 2.5) Use a longer exposure time in low-light settings.

As far as what I did to my 7, I researched and may have struck a deal with a local company to run an Adaptronic ECU with my TII swap for less than $1,000. They're going to let me come down and see the shop and meet them at the time of purchase as well - promo for Turblown

I replaced the wiper motor with one I got from a junkyard, just to find out the wipers still don't work. The motor makes noise but the linkage doesn't move. I'm gonna try cleaning and regreasing the linkage.

100% certain my awful noise is from the hatch seal being no longer compressible, letting the hatch bounce as the body gets tossed around.
I placed a double-layer of terry-cloth towels around the seal surface, and latched the hatch down on them. Test drive = no noise at all.
Time for a new seal.

Isn't that a bit cliche though?
I mean everyone with a rotary car has a rotor symbol somewhere on the car.
That and if it's a custom decal I have to pay a custom price according to the guy. Whatever that means.
I'm going to pull the trigger of Type 2.
I'll have the Modern Mazda instead of the vintage Mazda written on it.

Yeah, I hate scary noises while driving at night.
Apparently, the parts I need are 2 each, 8871-70-491 "Stopper, Filler Lid."
There's actually a chance these might still be available; according to a Russian website I saw (you gotta love the internet, man!) they were also used on the '93 MX-3's. If so, they probably pop up on a ton of other models thru the years.
We shall see!

That's probably the culprit. Good luck! Be REALLY careful with the plastic bushing that connects to the motor itself, if it hasn't broken already.

Ordered LED bulbs for the remaining two brake lamps I haven't switched and upgrade bulbs for the backup lights. The ones I originally put in look about the same brightness as the stock bulbs but I want a lot more light back there. So I am switching from a 30 lumen to a 150 lumen bulb. Additionally the 150 lumen bulb was $9.95 each and the 30 lumen bulb was $12.99. Go figure.

Take some snaps of that before / after if you dont mind. I've wanted to do this forever. The biggest benefit in my book is the quicker activation time of LED's - a traditional bulb takes like 1/4 second or something to turn on from the point you actually signal it. Thats like 20 feet of stopping room you give the person behind you.

I was seriously researching and planning on doing a build but I got too busy and didn't have the time. Now I have 3 extra tail light assemblies so maybe I'll start up again soon
MUCH better idea! Maybe I could even stop the person before they rear end me...I'm super paranoid about that when driving the 7

[QUOTE=13x;11360017]cliche possiably .... but I was thinking smaller more of an accent and that can be made more subtle with color choice ... we have a vinyl machine if you want something custom and are willing to pay shipping I'll cut them for you free .. (he is referring to a "setup" fee)
Can I take you up on your offer?
I would hate for you to do it for free though.
The diameter is 1.75 inches, solid black back ground and what ever color would work for the rotor.
Thanks! PM if you would like.

may have found the reason for the driveleine vibration, thought was a bad motor mount ... turns out the bolts were loose from the front cover to the mounting brace .. Oh well reason enough to put the polished one in now lol

they also fire in order of how they get electricity. Again, noticible and they fire from in to out.
The directonals are on turbo and the Stop light goes on at the dash board.
I do not want to use LOAD resistors because they are counter productive and draw back on the alternator. I heard there is a way in the FD models to TRICK the relays that the load is there using a .99 cent resistor on the relay. Does anyone have the trick for the FB? I am challenged when it comes to resistors and diodes.
