Dropped in the FB LSD, mounted up my new Goldies with new 205s, then drove 2000 miles of my Trip from Alaska to AZ....

Are you planning on touring the rest of the lower 48? I'm going to be in Las Vegas from Aug 9 - 15. If there is any chance you be passing through during that time let me know. I'd love to meet you and see your car in person. Great photo
I made it to the car show for the Pittsburgh vintage grand prix. A 200 mile drive both ways for me, and no problems at all. I put more miles on the car this weekend that the last owner did in 20 years.
There were only a couple rotaries there, I had the only first gen, there were two FDs, on RX-8, and a 3-rotor cosmo (which left before I took this picture).
Also, crossed a useful milestone, 77,777 original miles:
I was out of town and sorry I missed you. I have no vacations next year and hope you'll make the trip again. If you do there will be at least 2 FB's
Shoot half the responses on this thread are "I drove it and I liked driving my FB" or "I washed it; here are some pics". No modding whatsoever.
Its just a shame the "what did you do to your SA today" thread never took off
Qingdao, you're right. From Kententu's start of thread fully 1/2 of posts are exactly that, along with some technical back and forth,to wit...General Discussion Forum!
Finally received my long awaited wheels the other day, picked up my tires,mounted/balanced & swapped onto car. Short roadtest, retorqued wheel lug nuts. Have about 150 miles on as of now, pleased with results, much more planted than Nexens on my oe wheels. Advised by guy at Tire rack they really wake up in 400-500 miles. Some pics...

+1. This thread is great for random stuff that folks might not otherwise put up.
This thread exists so that we can celebrate the little things that make owning our cars great. A lot of what gets posted here is about how we enjoy our car ownership. This is not the place to fully document modifications and what not. Thats what threads are for.
Love the wheels, hows the clearance up front Mike? Have you done any hard cornering at speed yet? Thats the test for clearance.
Been staying out of the fray here a while. Looks like everyone is having fun. Having just wrenched on mine, myself, for the first time since I bought it 12 years ago, and the first time wrenching any vehicle since the 70's I can now say that mine is at least back on the road for now. Radiator like new, hoses all replaced . Water pump going in as soon as it cools off a bit. After Prestone flush and 9 distilled water flushing and drainings its back to 50/50 and running just fine. Thank you Mike (GSLSEFORME) for all the help.

Nice tool and die guy..... Whats the deal with the stuffed animal in the bottom left of the top pic???
in order to consume adult beverages we went to the parking lot where I work to hang w fellow employees for July 4. There were kids along w some parents. I guess one of them left it on the ground. I didn't even notice it till I looked at the pics. When I saw it I thought it made a rather interesting conversation piece. Guess I was right!!

Thanks Tim. I went to great lengths to measure for offset for suspension/fender clearance. Did not want to roll fenders unless absolutely necessary.I put off getting paintwork done until i had the wheels/tires installed and checked to be sure all clearances were good and drove the car. I have a 5 mile loop i use for testriding motorcycles after performance/suspension work. Hills, abrupt descents into a hard right hand turn that compresses suspension very well leading to a long straight stretch with a pretty good hump that you can get air on bikes and cars too if going fast enough into some s turns and back to road i live on. My SE would go to the bumpstops in that 1st right hand turn before i upgraded suspension. The tires were clearly the limiting factor after that. After mounting tires i made about 12 circuits on my loop adjusting anti roll bars and tire pressures to where car felt good, checking for signs of fender contact, then took it onto a limited access 4 lane freshly paved highway to run it up to 125 and it was smoooth. Had been chasing a vibration problem over 75mph,it was runout in Nexen tires i have on my oe wheels. Car is back at body shop finally getting a spa day.
I know they're only a deterrent but want to put wheel lock(s) on when car is done to protect my investment. What are people using/Recommendations? Car is garaged, don't want to worry if stopping to get a meal and car is out of sight-i know how fast i could steal the wheels if i was motivated.

Sounds like you live on an epic road.
Get Gorilla branded wheel locks if you have the choice. They make good wheel fastening devices (they make a dodge lug nut that doesn't mushroom).
