We won with it. 2 days, 2 8hr races, 2 wins against some pretty stiff competition. Plus we set fast lap of the weekend and I think a new track record for an endurance race car of any kind around AMP.
Finally, after about a year of getting the parts together and the drive to do it, I got my s4 intake installed. Everything went smooth aside from a few bits needing a bit of bending and grinding. Made a new recovery bottle but had to mount it in front of the radiator which is gonna suck to check. Still have to bleed the coolant system before I hit the road but already the throttle response feels better.

A lot of people have told me "You should put an S4 intake on your SE, it bolts right on!" obviously NOT. LOL
I took a pretty picture of the car while undergoing extensive fabrication. Notice that 5-lug front end? Yea, the rear will match soon...and this isn't some redrilled hub bullshit either.

Yeah not exactly bolt on but it wasn't too bad. It was just one of those measure twice cut once sort of things that made it take up so much time. I think it was worth it, definitely feels better in that 5k+ range.

Damn that's clean, kind of makes me wish I kept mine stock.
Displayed My Car In The Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix Downtown Car Parade
Here is a shot of my '84 reflected in the glass spires of one of the PPG Towers in downtown Pittsburgh on Wednesday, July 13.
The 2nd shot shows the plaza where the car was displayed. My car would have been on the opposite side of the fountain from where this photo was taken.
Finally sorted out my sa engine on problems. I had a friend come out and we reset the timing (again) and after that we played with the weber tuning it and now it runs and phenomenally.
Next thing to do is put it on a trailer and a off to the track.

Researched forum for S4 mod on my FB today. Thinking S4 with pineapple race inserts, clean and refurb injectors (never been done)
Beautiful FB, I like the wheel combo with the paint color.
Considering leaving side moldings off my Se when painted, though been a couple tines in the past a non caring person whacked my car pretty good with their car door,if not for that molding would have been sporting some good dents. Like the air dam on front of your car, nice fit. Installing one very similar if not exact on my car in a few days, hoping finished product looks good as yours. Spied what looks to be a Piper Cub with pontoons in your garage. R/C planes are one of my other addictions. Is it gas or electric?
that's a good job you did there,i have a 84 gsl se and just got my hands on a cartech hy therm turbo kit for se,my engine is 124,000 and before I plug n play im gonna rebuild, port, refresh suspension and brakes t2 tranny and last thing would be a water injection kit,not looking much on hp gain but to avoid detonation, somebody has experience with them?
Working out electrical and cooling system bugs. Still has a broken rear in it and the body has some nasty cracking that I need to fix before I can rallycross it again.
