Weber carb/ vaccum advance question
Do I need to keep the two vaccum advance solenoids by my cap in the vaccum system? I have a weber 45 and i only have the main vaccum line the two oil metering lines and the fuel line hooked up. I capped of the vaccum advances'. do i need to T-fit them into the line again? thanks
If the carb doesn't have a venturi vac port just bump your static timing up a bit and run on the mechanical advance of the distributor. Take the engine up to about 4K rpm and set your max advance.
i put a t on the two vaccuum lines and plugged them into the small vacuum fitting on the carb. didnt have a timing light or anything but car runs like a champ and pulls hard so i figure its good to go
