No... I am actually keeping project cheap autocrosser. I actually get way more entertainment out of the silver car.

 

Well no car is perfect!! I am realistic and I am honest! With that being said here is the good and the bad.

The car was bought by me two years from the original owner... It is clean but it has a few issues that keep it from being a top money car.

The interior is perfect except for the seats. It has the original seats but are covered with cheap parts store seat covers.

Engine runs perfect perfect perfect, but she is an oil hog! It has not been a problem, I am sure the oil seals are getting weak, but the compression is great and she runs strong.

Lastly even though it has a relatively new paint job, she is popping up minor rust behind the rear wheels (where most RX-7s rust!!) You really don't notice it, but it is there.

Someone could spend a little and have a perfect car. It kills me that I have lost interest in her.... guess when I got screwed by the guy who painter her by keeping it for almost 1 year in his shop, I lost complete interest in the car.

Funny I bought my other car "cheap autocrosser" as a car to play with while this was in the paint shop.... I have fallen in love with "cheap autocrosser" and out of love with this one!

Someone can get a cool "old school" car!!

Like I said.... just being honest with you guys!!

 

If I had space and 3k I'd drive down there tonight to get it.

 

Thanks... she really is still a neat car.. I just enjoy my silver one and would like something new to play with!!

But your loss will be somone else's gain, as that's a sweet SA. Almost as nice as mine. Good luck with sale, be choosy about your buyers. Car karma is a bitchy lil thing, should some a-hole rice that baby out.

 

I know I know... I am not trying real hard to sell it. If it sells, good, if not, well OK. It's not like $3000 is going to make or break my financial situation!!!

 

after it was painted, rust is popping up..did that guy do a bad job or did he not paint that particular area?

 

The rest of the paint looks great. That area was painted. It has not broke through the paint, you can just see the paint bubbling.

 

Not rusting thru from the other side, I hope?

Nah just bubbling... If I keep it, I will fix the rust and re shoot the area. SHould be an easy fix.

I turned down 3 callers today... I want the car to go to an enthusiast or no-one!!

 

I was looking for another FB... i only have a grand atm. If you still have this towards the end of July, I'll probably will buy it.

your offer is still tempting about trading my boat. i have decided to sell it and when i get home from work in a week and a half im plannin on prepping it for sale. im asking 6500 obo and i owe 2500 on the loan. im just torn between having the extra cash or taking you up on your offer. id love to have a clean stock rx7 to go beside my black project im building. after i do oil change on boat and stuff when i get home maybe i can meet u in baytown somewhere and we can both look at the others vehicles? i get off july 1
