VIN late 85?

Was just thinking about the last first gen built.
Would the serial # decipher this? I have read they only went to 899999
Mine is 902752, Who has the last one? any knowledge about this on a Mazda?
what's your VIN say on your 85?

With Japan-spec cars, it's not too difficult to find the last one ever made. North American ones are slightly trickier, but I can still run a build sheet for you if you'd like.

This is really intriguing. I'd love to know what happened to the "last" FB/first gen. Mine is a late number GSL-SE, wonder if mine could be it!

I need to update this (can't believe it's been 3 years), but this will give a range of VINs from some of the users on here.

the parts catalog shows vins up to 8/85 and chassis number 912688. i can't say i've ever seen one that late, and it would have overlapped FC production by quite a bit too.

i have seen some 5/85 and 6/85 cars but they must be fairly rare
