Add another to my roster. Just picked up a long forgotten 79 in arctic white. SA22C513644 It even has an auto and that red plaid two tone interior. Car is relatively clean and had been sitting so long that the tires dry rotted off of it.

 

I've recently acquired a gorgeous original condition 1979 Sonic Bronze GS built in 5/78.

Interesting. Beat Black would indicate that you have a 79 Limited model. There is a separate registry for special model Rx-7's (79LE, 80LS and 10th A/E ect...) You may want to post your car there. Does the drivers door jam still have the I.D. tag? It would have the build month and year. What is it?

General belief is that all 3000, 79 LE's were all built somewhere btw Feb-May of 79. I've only know of LE S/N's to begin with 54 through 57. You list your S/N as 50, which I think may be sometime in 1978?

Post up some pics to include the interior and engine!

The first (second) listed SA isn't me, oddly enough our username is nearly identical and also located in Southern California..??? That said, I'm going to have to take that spot.
