The original blue you referred to is Daytona Blue Metallic. Off the top of my head, the paint code was A9. May have to double check me on that, though, as I am nowhere near my books to verify right now. Daytona Blue Metallic was a 1979 color only, and are getting somewhat rare to find in good, unmolested condition.
You should have your paint code stamped on the VIN tag on the firewall.

1985 GSL-SE White on Maroon. I actually like the Maroon interior, at least after I re-dyed it back from sun faded orange back to Maroon. Driving it is more fun than I'm allowed to have, but I do it anyway.

Are you the recent buyer or seller of this car? A member here spotted this for sale and made mention of the car in another thread. She sure looked clean and well kept. Actually the car is considered a 79 even though it was built in 78. It has some of the early production features (hood prop location, door pannel design and others) that make the car a little more rare and desirable from a collectability standpoint. Congrauts!
