Recommendations
Hello All, how do I go about getting recommendations from the Club? Specifically, I'm looking for recommendations for a carburetor rebuild. Thanks!

Lots of great help on the site, but you should do a detailed search first. You can then ask questions. This will get you all the help you need. There are some great resources, you just have to look.

Most of us on the first gen forum do our own work. I say this because Saluki is not asking what rebuild kit to buy (Hygrade) but asking about carb rebuilds. Going out on a limb, I'm thinking the poster wishes to go to Napa or Autozone and walk out with a rebuilt carb. The question is where to buy.

Derek Hall on Facebook has been rebuilding Nikki carbs for a long while now and has some great results, if I was going to run a stock Nikki again I'd send mine to him. Similar to what the old Sterling carbs were like, except Sterling no longer modifies them.
