Question I need part recommendations.

I want to obtain roughly 350 HP (at 12-15 PSI) to the wheels of my T II RX-7 '89.

I am currently running 209ish HP at the wheels from a custom port job. Money isn't a problem, I want top of the line stuff. Digital, reprogramable ECU, all the electronics needed/recommeded as well as any turbo upgrades (I want to run 15-25 PSI adjustable digitally if possible).

Sway Bars, Struts, Springs, Suspention, exhaust, flywheel (if necesary), air intake, rad/intercooler upgrade (recommeneded front mount?), Boost controllers, fuel controllers, etc.

I want to know what would be ideal for my car to achieve such a goal. I have parts lists right now, but I want to know the real loe down before I start bolting stuff on and drilling holes in my frame =)

Can't forget about transmissions

I am also told I should upgrade my Transmission because it won't be able to handle the power.

ok, im not a T2 kinda guy, but here goes:

Haltec E6K computer
Spearco or Greddy FMIC
3mm apex seals

Full or half dog cut gearset for ur tranny..if they make it.
Ultra light aluminum flywheel
street/strip clutch, sprung disc. or Centerforce dual friction
HKS GTspec wastegate
HKS BOV.

check out RX7.com, mazdatrix.com, or the rx7 store that sponsors this forum. optauto.com has lots of parts too.

You don't need 3mm APEX seals. That requires rotor machining, and if you don't want to change the internals, that's not the way to go. Look into carbon race seals; the 2mm are just as durable as ceramic 3mm seals.

Hmmm, and aren't you patient! Aren't there other things to do with the car before you start slapping on components? Last time I saw your car it needed some "Cosmetic" work, or maybe Matt fixed everything I don't know...

NO carbon seals for turbo!! you'll blow them the first time you boost. they are for non turbo only.

you want full To4 turbo, to4 manifold, external wastegate.
bigger fuel pump. 4 720cc injectors or bigger. haltech ek6, adj. fuel pressure regulater. ported engine. 2mm seals are fine for that power. 3mm just lets you make a mistake or two. big intercooler. I'd go custom, the greddy and hks premade ones are too small for this.

my friends doing this setup as week speek

Tial 55mm Race wastegate - $1,500

Sway Bars, Struts, Springs, Suspention, exhaust, flywheel (if necesary), air intake, rad/intercooler upgrade (recommeneded front mount?), Boost controllers, fuel controllers, etc.
Sway bars - custom speedway splined set from Tri-Point Engineering $800
Springs - see dampers
Dampers - Moton or JRZ, $3,000 per corner
Exhaust - Titanium race, see JIC dealer
Intercooler - GReddy, Blitz, A'PEXi (JAPAN SPEC) front-mount, $2,000

Stock drivetrain can handle it.&nbsp If you want to waste more money, HKS sells a dog box for $8,000-$9,000.&nbsp Mazda Competition sells there PBR trans for about the same price...

I have a problem believing their drop-in dog gears sets can handle more torque.&nbsp I've heard of transmission case flexing from 500+lb/ft of torque when applied to FC/FD cases.&nbsp Having the dog gears in the stock casing does not prevent this flex.

For $5k, I'd rather buy a Jerico or a G-Force and run an adapter plate to the 13B/20B.&nbsp Add shipping to the whole deal, and it's a significant price to pay in the U.S.

In the kit is not only the gearset but also a billet sump (designed to not only store more oil but also adds heaps of case rigidity) and optional bearing spread support plate to solve this flexing problem! Shipping from/to the US is SFA (Sweet f__ all) these days, and by keeping your stock case you are still legal for street drags etc! It is that strong that you will see them soon in many front running drag cars in the US, just wait and see! Several teams have them planned already.

I guess I'll wait and see, cause I don't have the money right now.

If it works, I'll be calling for at least 3 sets, cause I've got 3 of them in the works right now.&nbsp Thanx for the info!
