I have seen both, all I havent seen now is the original cosmo and the RX5.

I would trade both my cars for a RX3 or REPU.

 

Ironic, isn't it? Out here in Cali where cars last forever, the gov't is trying to kill the old ones off, while back east where you're allowed to have them, you can't find any as car-cancer eats them all up.

I've even seen R100's running loose out here.

On the Datsun 510 Stu, 1971 was a technologically backwards year (we were all on pot and protesting an offensive government, not a great time for tech).

I'd sink my bucks into an 85 SE, more tech for your buck. Or anything with a 12A in it, designed by the Mazda engineers.

 

SE's are over rated. Buy a GSL and put in a S4 motor and ECU. Then you can have a better FI first gen cheap and easy.
Or stay 12a and get a good carb to pull from the gsl-se's

There is a junk yard up here that won't let you. There was a 56 Caddy here, and a guy was like "I want it, how much" and the yard wouldn't sell the whole car to him. They cut it in half and sold both parts to him. He just took it home and welded it back
