2-1-11 ogta
Feb 1, 2011 OGTA Report:
According to Kristy:
2 FE's = 0.25 12As (Holly, Billy)
1 PrePro = 0.75 12A's (Kristy)
5 FB's = 5 12A's (Ben, Crit, Mike, Dean, Ray)
Heavy Duty Rain all night long, no activity in the parking lot, but what a ride home we had!
Which just goes to show you, when the going gets rough, the FC's don't show up.
The meeting was held in a historical downpour, so I didn’t risk my camera (except on the way home when we stopped for gas, see below).
So here's some similar shots from the archives:

Hey Dave, Mike's tornado gray 85 GS (the Gray Ghost, he called it) still exists as a rolling shell, he traded it to Billy for some mesh wheels. Billy mentioned the other night that it still sitting over at his shop and he doesn't seem to have plans. (I'm assuming you mean this one:
Not this one:
The Gray Ghost has a great Georgia body, no rust, overall great shape, just waiting for someone to put it back together (I was tempted, but I do like the GSLs better). I'll bet we could work a decent deal for you, come on down for the Mitty and tow it home!
This red car is actually not Kristy's PrePro, although I understand the confusion, all FC's seem to look the same and half of them are red.
I cheated a little on the photos for 2-1-11 meet, it was raining so hard I didn't get the usual shots so I went back in the archives and reposted some shots from some of the very first meetings, which took place back in 2003 or so. So most of those photos are 8 years old, not that any of us look any older now of course.
Except the pics of Dean's Harlequin 7, which I took on the way home from the meet when we stopped for gas. Dean's car is a good example of how things go down here, he hit a deer a few weeks back and now his previously all black 83 GSL has parts from two of my previous GSLs (the Tan One and the Brown One) plus a blue midpiece from another parts collector in Atlanta.
I'm not sure who's red FC that is or where it is now, but I could probably find out. The RX-7's in this area just keep going back and forth from one owner to another.
Jibaro, I feel your pain. Nothing in the world could get me to live in the Windy City. Two feet of blizzard snow followed by -30 degree wind chills. NO WAY! We are getting a little of y'all's misery and precipitation this afternoon, but it's limited to light showers and uncomfortably cool temps, all the way down into the 40's. Brrrrrrr......

True Dave, driving down to Atlanta to pick up an FB shell would probably put a dent in the budget the wife wouldn't appreciate, especially with the new edition on the way.
But think of the value added - a weekend at the Mitty!
And true, hockey isn't that big down here. Guys skating around with sticks whacking at something you can't see is an abstract concept for a southerner.
Besides, they don't have the most important part of any spectator sport - cheerleaders.
