I ran at Portland International raceway with my stock 85 12A on Proxes. I did a 16.9 @ 82mph with a RT of .16 . This was my first drag race and my RT was pretty good. I just need to get this Streetported so I can run faster!

in my 83 gsl i did a 17.00 @87mph completely stock! w/ a r/t of .008 was happy i did that. a family friend gave me good advice to launch her. i love racing

I was at the track last thursday and here are my numbers

I got two runs in
1st run 11.37 @ 123 with a 1.70 60ft.
2nd run 11.40 @ 121 with a 1.48 60ft. Missed 3rd gear
And then they told me not to come back until I get a Cage...

I just took my daily driver GSL-SE to the strip to see what it would do currently.
Couldnt get a 60 foot to save my ***!

Street port converted to n/a 13Bre, custom header, msd 6al with FC coils. Haltech F10a fuel computer.

I was not launching the car, mods are in my sig.

 

Last time i went to the track i got 14.6 consistently and my best was

14.541 @ 93
1.96 60'

12A all rotor, Mild SP, Falken street tires, 8 lb flywheel, ACT clutch, 4.44 lsd rear end, Full exhaust, k&n filter, heating ducting ram air, etc

 

Went to the track last night and now i have a new best 1/4 mile time!!

I went 12.93@109 yes!!!

I have a video of the run.. My buddy has to convert it to put it on the computer...
I was boosting 14 lbs with street radial previous to this time at the track and it ran a 11.37 and 14 lbs on the street (it is a street car).. I wrap the down pipe the day before and put a set of slicks on the car.. I forgot to put the wastegate vacume hose back on so i was boosting over 20 lbs. it also was pump gas... I had to let off three time came too close to the wall and the center.. and to top it off I do not have cage...
I have a R85 turbo kit..

Another thing, the second run I broke the rear plate at the dowel pin near the oil filter because of the high boost and the motor was not pinned.

I will take a pics of the time sheet.. i will post it later on tonight... If you have any other questions PM me...
