Tickets we get in our FDs

Hey fellas,

lets hear the stories of everyone's craziest, saddest, most embarrassing, least expected, and most funny speeding tickets

i'll go first

i got a $350 ticket because i was doing 67 mph in a 35 zone because my girlfriend wanted to "hear my car go pppsshhhh"

then the officer that pulled me over told me that NOS is not street legal (i dont have NOS)...he thought the sound of my BOV was me spraying

oh and i did i mention that the cop also searched my car for a bottle of nitrous...lmfao!!

Ah the things we do for P*ssy!

I got pulled over in Golden Beach bc the cop thought i had blue headlights which were 6000K HIDS. After he determined that he was incorrect, he then proceeded to let his police dog sniff all over my car after he had relieved himself on the side of my Dunlop SP8000!

considering the cops here in OR drive what look to be 500HP mustangs, im kinda leery, but I had a near miss the other day with a cop going the opposite direction, who proceeded to burn a U in rubber on the road as he flipped around to come after me, all for a missing front plate, and to look under the hood cause its a "race car"

How about getting pulled over cause he couldn't read my tag because the tinted cover was to dark ? Florida law says it has to be readable from 100 feet or less and he was right behind me... So I questioned his eye sight since I can see it fine from down the block... then he gave me a ticket for illegal tints.... NOT for the tag cover...Go figure.....

100 mph in a 43,75 mph zone (160 km/h on a 70 km/h zone).

I almost cried...

I got a 40 in a 25. Yup bicycles go faster than the cars. It's Longport at the Jersey shore. The super-rich people don't want the outside rif raf driving fast looking cars down their roads. I made the mistake of making eye contact with the kid, I mean police officer as I passed him. He did a u-turn and gave me the anally retentive ticket. I just don't drive in that area any more.

No tickets but I got pulled over by a Japanese police officer and got a "verbal warning" for 51 in a 45. The speed limit was posted at 50 but the police officer said I was supposed to go 5 under the posted limit in a construction zone. I never heard of that law before but i was like whatever, I'll go with it. I don't know all the laws and my friend had some illegal substances on him. But the police officer mostly talked about my car asking me what was done and my plans for it. Then, recently I got pulled over and got a warning for tail lights in another car. Anyways, I asked about the 5 under in a construction zone and all he said was "that isn't a law, he shouldn't have pulled you over." I think the first police officer just wanted to check my car out....

Just a few weeks ago I got a ticket for having smoked tail lights(99 spec) I went to court and showed the judge a pic and Mazda documentation to prove they are a factory piece. The cops face was priceless when I looked at him and said "nice job )

What documentation did you use because I have a feeling I'm going to get stopped for that. I got stopped for it twice on the car I used to have but they definitely weren't factory like these.

I passed a cop on the side of the road doing 130ish proceeded to roll into the throttle got to 135 (what he clocked me at) then realized the stretch of road i'm on there's no where for me to get off and hide. I let off and started down shifting and pulled over to wait for him. 3-4minutes later he pulls up behind me. Ended up getting a ticket for 85 in a 65, it was about 1am with no one on the road. Very lucky i was seating bullets i thought i was going to jail.

2nd ticket got smog reffed, gotta love living in CA.

oh ****... Well my latest ticket was for supposedly street racing, going 150 MPH, illegal mods, no isurance (didn't have my card with me but the car is insured). Car was never towed nor was I ever arrested.

End result:
no isurance- dropped
100+MPH- dropped (there is no ticket for 150 but the cop wrote that in )
illegal mods- dropped

The only thing that stuck was the street racing. The only reason it stuck was because the other guy that was being charged along with me with me pleded guilty to that. Even after I advised him to wait for me to go first in court. But he didn't listen, even after I proved to him that I knew what I was talking about... The end result was that he got a $1600 fine and 80 hours cummunity service.

I got a $500 fine and NO cummunity service . I'm 100% sure we could had gotten all charges dismissed if he would had listen to me.

How did I get all of that **** dropped? Basically the easier I make it for the cop, the easier I make it for the D.A. and thus make it harder for me in court.

I've had too many tickets to count - beat them all with attorney fees. Zero points on my three year record. One of the better ones was "speed contest" with a C5 vette, problem was they didn't write the vette owner a ticket (I guess he knew one of the officers), so I told the attorney to tell the judge "how can there be a race when only one party is cited?" They bought it- dimissed.

No tickets in the FD in over 8 years. I honestly think its the color (white). I used to get a ticket once a year in my red FB.

^ Color makes a huge difference, even with speed traps. There are just too many white, black, and silver cars on the road.

I was pulled over a year ago driving thru Cincinatti via speed trap by helicopter. Came out of the tunnel and there was about 12 cop cars on the side of the road and they started picking people off, of course I was one of them.

I was cited for a 77 in a 55 I think (Right after crossing from KY to OH the speed changes on the bridge). I'd known the area pretty well being I lived in Ohio before and played off like a tourist trying to get out of it, didn't happen.

Went to court on my birthday...In Cinci... 135 lbs white kid. Saw some of the funniest things ever and couldn't discuss the issue of the 1998 YEAR MODEL the cop wrote on the citation because it was only the proliminary hearing evidently. Needless to say I drove back home and sent the check in to pay the ticket.

I must have been lucky because I DD'd my VR with Greddi Ti/mp(then +single turbo/street port) for years and never got pulled over...the cops sure looked at me funny when I'd be idling at a stoplight next to them though. lol

Hmmm. I must be lucky then. I've received nothing but warnings when getting pulled over in my FD.

I almost got caught going 197km/h in Tokyo. But their cars are only factory tuned. If you can do better than 180k, they don't even try.

I was rollin in my Fortune FD
