Help!
The previous owner of my car installed a Stoptech brake kit. Somehow he overtorqued and jammed the bleed screw so that when I tried to open it, it snapped in half... Currently where the bleed screw was is now a broken piece of metal level to that of the caliper. I have no way of opening/closing or removing the screw. All i see is a small hole where the fluid was supposed to come out of.
How can this be repaired? Stoptech said they cannot help me.

The bit snapped in half with it stuck in the center of the bleeder hole. Now this is going to make drilling very difficult.
That is some real shitty luck.

I was researching this problem a bit and I've seen quite a few threads where backouts actually break. I'm going to have a friend drill it out and use a Wilwood Bleeder Repair Kit. It basically acts as an adapter where you drill and tap the old broken off bleeder. Hope this works, I'm not looking forward to buying a replacement Stoptech caliper.

Problem Solved: Friend had a set of Tungsten Carbide tipped drills, which is designed for drilling through hardened steel. The rest came out with an ez-out. ~whew
