you must be the polished lip type then! J/p They used to be polished lip, but everyone and their brother has that, so i decided to be different and go gloss black, i love em. I wish the centers were a little more dark gunmetal though, the powder coater kinda f---ed up. O well, next winters project, haha.

Your car does look cool. But, IMO you need larger diameter wheels with the flares and the setup you have.

yea i know but these will do for now. She looks hot with the 28x10 MT's in her though! Thats why i did the flares like that, built em around drag mode moreso than street. Otherwise i could've hung the flares a little lower. It needs 19s, but im not going to spend $4000+ on a set. The ones in the pics were a few thousand too many as it is, lol.

I think the car is hot. Like you said some 19s would make it perfect. But anyways

Maybe over winter il call simmons and try to track down some 18 or 19" for the rears, i think that would be badass. Then i can run a true 335 out back, for now i have lousy 315's

I normally don't like the flares, but the black actually makes it look pretty good.

I actually think the wheels look very nice and fit the vibe of the car very well.

My opinion could change once I see the whole car.

Thanks for all the compliments guys! It just drives me to work on it nonstop till shes done, even in this bogus 20* weather here in the midwest.

Thanks! I wanted to be different by going with the black gloss lip with the wheels. Everyone has the polished lip and well,,, i like to be different with keeping good taste in mind and try things others havnt. The front end consists of 99 front conversion, 99 signals, 99 CF lip, RE CF sleak's with HID option. Theres some other trickery and rare JDM product as well, but il keep that a secret for now.

Thanks for all the compiments guys! It just gives me more drive to work on it even in this 20* weather! I cant wait till shes finished, its going to be one BADASS FD!

thanks! Seeing the 315's out back give people the chills, because they know they're on the car for a reason! haha I will warn you, i have over 90hrs of chaos into those rear flares to get them to fit right, look nice, and still keep the chassis structural integrity. Thats excluding color/clear paint time, which is always the easiest of all the steps required when spraying a car, lol. I did shave the fuel door and rear side markers as well, that was also accounted for in the 90 some odd hours. as much swearing, pain, and agony i went through,,, it was all worth it!!!

Thanks! It will definatly be very intimidating seeing this car rolling down the highway. At night the triple black is soo deep and pure, hence the name "black magic" You'll see it, a downshift later, SHES GONE! haha! If i remember correctly you have a wild looking FD as well?
