Who here is using the wolf to control boost??

What are you having success with? The overboost cut set to mode 2, or actuating upon load percentage and adjusting the valve postion per rpm?

Also what solenoid are you using, stock or the wolf suggested macvalve unit??

also does anyone have the macvalve part # handy??

that's what I'm using too, but it isn't doing a very good job.

we're tinkering with using the wolf to control boost in a second car, but we're trying to make the two port solenoid work. It's giving us fits right now.

What problem are you having with the Spec II?

I'm using it as well, and aside from the stupid boost limit resetting itself when the car is shut off, it works great.

it's actually just the spec 1 version. I had a hybrid on there and it couldn't keep it controlled. It would always creep. I'm not sure that it's the profec's fault, but I'm scared to keep it with my new setup, so I was just wanting to try the wolf instead.

^ On, mine unless I hit 'hi' 'low' 'hi' the boost limiter will reset itself to 14.5 psi whenever I shut off the car...who the hell wants to run that low boost

The value of the limit doesn't change (mine is set at 18 psi), but he limiter itself will go off early...

When the spec II first came out, there where a few posts regarding this issue, maybe you have a new one with a firmware upgrade. who knows...
