What are you guys seeing as a noise count when the car is running? I get up to 7 (which I think must be horrible). The trigger voltage is set to very low, which I know increases it, but the car doesn't start too well without a low setting.

Additional information. It only gets up to 7 when cold and right after starting (idle). Normally it is at 1. Syncx is normally at 1 or 2.

Thats normal to get a few at cranking and starting but after that it shouldn't go up at all.

you can set it so voltage level is low at first and ramps up over rpm or something to that effect (been to long, i forget)


howlong of a drive does it take you to get 7, i would get alot more than that with my old cas, i swapped out to one that was closer to the fsm's reccomended specs and iirc i only get 1 or 2

 

On the dyno this weekend, it was only 0 or 1 when the car is warm. The high count is during cold starts. It seems that is normal per Michael.
