Ignitor + Coil combo's

Hello -

I was wondering what other coil/ignitor combo's wolfems racers are using.

Has anyone had good/decent/bad luck with stock FC leading packs?

And what part # or whatever ignitor are you using for the trailing coils?

I am looking for recommendations on alternative OEM/Aftermarket single lead coil and ignitor combo's also if anyone is using other than stock it would be interesting to know how well they are working out.

What is your application?
I am using VW Golf coils(4) and BMW igniters(4) for my Rotary conversions using the wolf 3D V4.
They work well, have'nt had any problems.
Use the same combo on VW Golf 16v turbo's aswell.

I'm using 4 blaster ss coils (kick ***) and an ignition module from a 2000 turbo jetta. It's actually the igntion module that chris from checkpoint motorsports recommends.

and it sparks fine even at 9/1 mixures (before tuning of course)

p.s. the "hugo" pos that's in the pic has since been replaced with the recommended bosch ignitor that is a workhorse.

I use the Bosch ignitor that wolf reccomends on their site (the 2 channel one) with my stock T2 coils. Works fantastic and it can be easily hidden under the coilpack so everything looks stock (good for the smog *****).
