HUGE FAVOR Wolf3d v.3 or anything...

I need all the values, standard setpoints for each setting on the Wolf. I am lost, I went through via the manual and tried to reset everything (according to the book) and now the car will not idle, and wants to stall.. The car runs better, (fast) but the driveability just went out the window....

I would be willing to pay for the values if no-one will help out of the kindness of thier heart..lol

Thanks...

Ok, let me start over

THe car was stumbling really bad when I bought it, and was reaching Full throttle at 1/8th of a (gas) pedal. It woudl idle but if it sat for about 10 minutes in Nuetral jsut decided to cut itself off. The car was struggling to get to interstate speeds if at WOT. So I could accelerate good if I only had 1/16th of the throttle held down.

So I got it home, changed the oil and the fuel, and the filters and started it up... same thing.

I downloaded the manual to the wolf and basically started at the begining and started the basic setup. It ran very well after going throught the steps but was still rich and refused to idle.

I then went to adjusting the Injection on ACC and followed the directions. After messing with that and the timing adjustments the car went to ****. Still accelerated well but the car refuses to idle and will fall on it's face..

Also the Tach dies above 5krpm and then kicks back in....

SO.. I am looking for a basic setup and I will start with those values.

ALSO- The Timing light reads that the timing is well advanced so I moved the CAS back to OEM and teh car would barely start, the timing light says it's right on (oem marks) but the car doesn't like that at all and according to the Wolf it reads 20+ deg advance at OEM settings.

The Tach is right on with the Wolf though..

Wink

Ok the stumble will be caused by the TPS being a factory one I will just about bet money on that. (been there done that) You may need to buy a VDO TPS I have one and it works great but you need to relocate it to the back of the throttle body. I did anyway. and recalibrate the TPS see the Manual

Next timing. Set your ignition map to 0 across the map ok. Measure your pulley mine was good it was 360 mm circumference which makes things easy 1 degree = 1 mm the timing marks are -5 and -20 looking at the pulley from the front of the car with the 2 marks in view the left most mark when the marks are on the top of the pulley is 20 degrees retarded OK.

Ok now lets look at marking TDC...The mark to the right is 5 degrees retarded ie -5 so if you have 1 mm per degree you measure 5mm to the right and mark it with white paint, place a 0 under it. Next measure 60mm ie 60 degrees to the right this is 60 degrees ADVANCED..we need this to setup the initial timing on the CAS.
Open the CAS top. Rotate the engine so the marker points to the 60 degree advance mark on the pulley. ONLY rotate your motor clockwise...Now on page 60 of the manual adjust the CAS as shown in the book. Tighten the locking nut and put the top on the CAS.

Your timing is now set. Set your fuel map to 3.30ms this will run. With your timing set to 0 start the car and check the timing with a timing light it should be on the Zero mark.

You are ready to go to the next step tuning..

Cheers
