3 rotor secondary injector resistors...
i'm having trouble finding a resistor rated high enough to use with the secondaries.
i was told to wire all 3 in parallel, but since the resistance would be too low, to add the resistor...the one i can't find.
so how about i steal the resistors out of an 87 t2 and wire one 10(ish) ohm resistor per injector, instead of the one 2 ohm resistor in the power line?
anyone do it that way with any success? it sounds totally reasonable to me, but i just want a second opinion so i don't get the computer pissed off.
thanks

whats the rating on your injectors?
whats wrong with one 2 ohm resistor?
seems like youre making some extra work for yourself

3 2-3 ohm injectors are borderline in parallel.
nothing's wrong with one resistor, but i already said (twice) i can't find it. radioshack has 5 watt max. i don't think that's enough.

5w / 12v = .4166666666666 amps.

ack i accidentally posted early.
you basically need 4(amps) * 12(volts) = 48(watts) at least...
gimme a sec ill post a link to one.
or you could just do what you said and use the tII resistors...
1/(10+2) + 1/(10+2) + 1/(10+2) = 3/12 = 4 ohms total resistance...
(link coming shortly for single resistor if you want to go that route)

since all the 100watts were out of stock, save for a 2ohm adjustable....
heres a 2ohm, 225 watt resistor

i was just postin the stuff for a single resistor if he wanted less stuff to mount and everything

rofl...i can't find the t2 resistors :p
i know i've got 2 or 3 boxes laying around somewhere but i can't find a one of them.
doesn't it figure?
i can't find **** since i cleaned the shop.
