I am starting to work on pulling my engine, but before I start pulling things apart, I'd like to pull the map off my PowerFC so I can see what's going on. I am going to end up buying a datalogit but I'm trying to pull the map ASAP so I'm wondering if anyone in the area wouldn't mind coming down to help me pull the map. Please let me know, thank you!

 

I would totally help you out but you're really far away, like a few hundred miles. I am pretty sure you have some good FC-datalogit users reasonably close to you that can help you. I'm pretty sure you don't have to wait on pulling your engine though. As long as you have power to the ECU I would think you should be able to get the map.

 

Thanks, does the ECU have to be hooked up to the engine in order to be able to pull the map or just making sure that it's able to receive power when turning the car to accessories.
