Well police report confirms Jetta driver is at fault and in violation of 21804(a) CVC (left turn, failure to yield to oncoming traffic). Just have to wait for insurance to finish whatever it is they are doing.

 

dumb question but off the top of your head you know how much you getting back or what the insurance company is going to cover?

The only way you're going to see any $ near what this is worth is if you start going to the doctors about your wiplash, sprained knee, re-occuring headaches, insomnia ever since the loss of you car, etc. etc.

Unfortunately, they are going to total your 1st gen at market value of any old 1st gen. That won't be much and you're totally at the mercy of the insurance company to call the value.

Ok, so my insurance says I now have to talk to the other party's insurance to cover the damages because they cannot talk to them for me. I don't get it, I thought they are suppose to handle everything.

So I try calling the number they gave me for the other Insurance and I get infinite rings and no one ever picks up.
