o2- wish I could make to the time attack on the 26th but I wont be around to attend. I got a bigger wing, new re-71r tires and few small things fixes making me eager to see what times I can pull at BW.

Willow Springs was good the other day. Perfect temps, no wind. The car runs pretty consistent low 1:33s, but now my tires are starting to fall off. Now that they are worn pretty far they start getting greasy after a 5-6 laps. Time for some new rubber soon and see what it can do!

Thanks! I'd really like to see 1:32s at Big Willow before I put aero on the car.

BW #13 ccw

Had a hard time getting a good clean lap for TT. Then started running low on fuel. Then lost a motor in the race.

Im pissed I did not get my recent speed ventures track day at streets of willow on video..

Got a new personal best time of 1:23.1 going CW durring the first session. Got my ohlins dialed in nicely and added a cheesy track day only knightsports wing to add a bit of aero. I definitely believe I could of had her in the low 1:22's in later session if it wasnt for traffic and track temps. RE71r's dont like heat that much.

With the wing I'm almost going wot to the apex of turn 1. Letting off well into the turn. Amazing how even a little aero makes a difference.

Last weekend's race on Saturday. Great fun. A few lead changes and 3 wide through the complex.

Anyone here have knowledge on RE71r heat cycle life span? Hoping the dont fall off after 2-3 track days.

Huge difference over the feed type 2 wing? I'm wingless right now and was considering a feed wing in the future.

Nice! Even at those sizes you should feel a difference on track. Let us know how it goes.

Not huge but enough to be clearly noticeable on high speed turns. I have bubbletech canards in the front also and together I needed to adjust for the added downforce grip after 80-100mph. Id get a wing for track days only and deal with 4 holes on your hatch. Aero grip is fun.

From what I'm told the RE71R will wear out very fast. Even though its a street compound, its about as soft as a NT01, and will wear very quickly.

I am getting 10-11 full track days out of a set of NT01s and RC1s. I have heard the RE71s won't last that long, but cannot confirm that with anyone that runs the local So Cal tracks, so it will be interesting to see what happens.

I've heard confirmation that they lasted 2 track days up in Norcal with Speed SF, but this was on a E39 5 Series..

After 1 track day on a hot day at SOW, which is pretty hard on tires, I didnt see any hyper/nasty tire wear. Basically what you would expect from this type of tire. Im more worried about the compound drying up from repetitive heat cycles. The NT01's were great at maintaining its rubber softness with many many heat cycles. Hoping these are similar.

Still having some fuel issues. I think I got it fixed after the race. But it was down on power for sure. The heat didn't help. Had to back off the timing almost 10deg. so it wouldn't ping.
Still pull off P1 for both days.

Infenion looks so fun. Sooner or later I need to make time for a Laguna Seca and Infineon road trip/track day vacation.

I also need to figure out how to properly use harrys laptimer lol, nice video man.
