Ventura County Rotary Owners? Show of Hands?
i'll admit i'll be there as a spectator. my TII is a powerless steering from the showroom. no way I can turn the wheel fast enough thru them cones. it would me more like sailing on the track.
Pictures of your build?
Maybe a rotary social should be in the works?
Pics coming soon! I'm on vacation in Illinois visiting the family right now. So when I get back back the real work will begin. Yep Oxnard is like an hour south of me!
If anyone is going to be up in the Lompoc area tomorrow I will be working on my FD, and BBQin, if anyone in the area and wants to swing by and grab some food let me know! Also the FD is getting close to being done and I'm pretty excited. Now I need to find a tuner if anyone knows anyone in our area it would be greatly appreciated
Currently running a 3574 single on stock ports, 1600 secondaries, still trying to find a set of primaries, most likely ID725s and a rx7 store fmic. Ecu is a PFC and i have the datalogit for it too.
Nice setup, im running pfc/datalogit on my 35r setup also. The id725's are really nice and easy to tune, my car ran way better when I swapped out my 850's for them. I dont know of any tuners close to your area unfortunately.
It would probably be close, but with stock ports you should be able to just enter your new injector settings, let the pfc do an idle learn procedure and be good to go for non boost driving. My car has a large street port and doesn't pull a ton of vacuum at idle, the idle cells and cranking map may not work well for your car. I dont mind sending you my map if you want to try it, or when you have decided what primary injectors you have I could make you one.
Oh, and if you are deleting emissions with the single swap make sure you keep the iac valve next to the tps on the back of the uim, its nice to have.

I already put a block off plate on it And painted the manifold I'm pretty sure I'll double check. What exactly does the IAC do? I will try the self learn here soon need to get a few things soon, and I'm going with the id725s they are the best option from what I've been reading. Thanks for the help!
Yeah I did the same thing at first too, got all excited and ripped off everything I could haha. The IAC valve stabilizes idle speeds under electrical load or when the AC is on. If you remove it your idle will likely suffer in some conditions, and worst case you may need to go to manual idle control which is kind of janky and requires that you set the no load idle speed several rpm higher to compensate for the drop when the cooling fans or headlights come on.
