Sweet build so far. That turbo looks pretty big, you sure that's going to be responsive enough for drifting?

S5 vert up in SB for $550, if it really just needs a drive shaft this could be a nice deal:

Same here I have friends but the don't share the same interest in drifting and cars. Just got to let the wife know in advance and everything is cool.

What's the specs on that turbo? 62-1? Looks like an older Turbonetics turbo 60 series.

It is. It is a t72 q trim with an ar 96. Due to the turbine housing beeing on center it doesn't quite fit. Called turbonetics and that trim style is out dated. So I am updating the turbine wheel and changing it to an 115 divided and no longer on center.

Wouldn't it be cheaper to have a local shop port it, Shipping fees alone would cost more.

I know a couple of people who do great work for porting state side, but for doing the machine work for the oversize studs I only know Mazdatrix and 1200 bucks just seems ridiculous to me.

Ahh. I see. Yeah, you need a machine shop that knows what they are doing with the oversize studs. Good luck!

Nice 3 rotor build there PISTON KILLA. Hey Tyrel you show any news pics of your 3 Rotor on here? I sure hope to get the the FC on the road soon with the built GT35R kit. Sit N Sleep needs to get the machining done.

I don't see any 3 rotor hotness, maybe you confused that 13b-re upper manifold for a 20b one? They do look similar. What kind of machining work are you waiting on to finish your build?

He's referring to my long 3 rotor build in the black fd. No pics until it's finished.

It's so nice to see a good amount of rotary owners in the area! I'm thinking next month may be the perfect time for a local BBQ..What do you all think? I should have my car back in my hands in the next couple of weeks from the bodyshop
