Tips to smog

hey so im planning to smog my FC next week, i got a new cat the main but i still have the pre cat from the old exhuast system but its a little cloged up, is there a way to clean it out so it can be all systems go, right now im rolling on a straight pipe.

things ive done:

changed the oil
got new spark plugs
cleaned out K&N air filter
new spark plug wires

im going to check about this place that sells 100 Octain fuel in NEW PORT BEACH
and check to see if my O2 sensor is good to go. i going to change my fuel filter but i dont know if thats all i need to do so can anyone else give me some info on what else i need to do, you know some tricks to help me pass

ps

i just wanted to say **** that HERMAFIDIT of a puto who always puts up a retarted comment "Call 1-800-CUT-SMOG" you know who you are and if your reading this ill be doing a lot of fellow FC drivers in this forum a favor when i say "**** YOU, YOU ******* HEARTLESS ****".....

be careful with the 100 octane fuel, some leaded gas will kill o2 sensors pretty fast

I'd take it down and see if they can do a test run and not an actual smog test so if it does not pass and ends up being a gross polluter it will not go to the dmv. Call them and ask about it.

A tune up is a good start and make sure the air pump is in working order and the little gizmo hooked up on top of the exhaust manifold that it goes into is working OK.

I went through hell smogging my FC last year so if you run into any issues feel free to PM me.

i dunno about rotarys but i know some alcohol in the fuel will make it run a little cooler and bring HC's down. Also the usual oil change, and tune up.

Here's the # of the shop that smogged my FC that had no cats, old plugs and wires, and a TYTE JDM exhaust: (edited out). Ask them to 'use magic', that's the key words. $250 cash and you're good for another 2years.

Dude... we have a PM system for a reason. Talking about illegal crap like this ruins it for everybody.
