I just got out of a class where we discussed the cost benefit ratio of adding a low concentration (less than 3% per gallon) of Nestle Raspberry Coffee Cream to the gasoline. Like the milk, the creamer does the same thing, but the additive raspberry changes the pH level and runs the engine much cleaner and cooler.

Methanol injection is obsolete. Time to move to the raspberry creamer stage.

I heard clogged cats help pass smog [seriously].

^You guessed correct sir.
Also for the record. 110 octane will not burn "cleaner" the only thing it will do is burn a hole in your pocket. The number just has to do with the additives to resist pre ignition/detonation. All "gasoline" has 8 (oct) hydrocarbons and that is what is measured coming out of the exhaust. So if anything at all, the 110 is more likely to miss burning all of the air/fuel mixture.
You would have a better chance leaning the hell out of your motor and hoping for the best haha.

i like the vitamin analogy. like vitamins & your body, a car only needs so much knock rating (octane). the rest just goes out of the exhaust piping

Albertsons is still alive and kicking! They just got bought out by SuperValue, and sold their standalone Savon's to CVS.
