ThunderDrift FULLTRACK - DECEMBER!!!

WHEN: Saturday December 20th 2008

WHERE: Thunderhill Raceway 5250 HWY162, Willows CA 95988

WHAT: FULLTRACK DRIFTING!!!

ThunderDrift is holding a giant drift event on Thunderhill's entire 3-mile 15-turn road-course. The course features a wide variety of turn-styles (like constant radius, sweeper, decreasing radius, dual apex, etc) combined with extreme elevation changes, and banked/off-camber turns.

Saturday's event will be open drifting on the full track, with personal 1-on-1 behind the wheel instruction by local heroes and some of your favorite pro-drifters. We'll also have download sessions after each on-track session to discuss techniques and broaden your drifting horizons. Basically, this is the PERFECT opportunity for you to come out to a REAL track and learn to swing it like a champ. Don't be afraid to try just because you're new to drifting... that's why we have instructors

Sunday will feature a single-car drifting competition as well as a tandem-drift competition on a few select turns of the raceway. Check out the map below for the exact locations (remember, saturday we'll be using that ENTIRE track... not the highlighted sections).

ALSO! we've got lots of incentives for you to come to this event!

- America's tire in woodland is doing a discount on tires for this event

- Performance Options in Oakland is doing a discount on cages for this event (cages are required for the tandem competition)

- VEX Motorsports in San Jose will be doing tire service at the track

- DMAX bodykits will be giving away prizes

- GoPro Camera will be giving away prizes

- Driven Authority will be out there reppin (haven't figured out how yet, but I'll update soon)

...and much much more!

Here are links to threads spelling out the sponsorship deals in more detail:

For Entry information, please visit www.thunderhill.com and click "register to drive"

if any other questions come up, I'll probably re-post the answers in this first post... it helps keep the info all together.

Remember guys, if we get a good turnout for this event, we have a good chance of getting numerous fulltrack opportunities in 2009. Let's DO IT! show up! even if you aren't going to drive!

PS My contact info is on the flyer!
