I guess its time for a rebuild

Aaahhhh!!! So my car let me down today (well yesterday to b exact) I started it up and BAM, It would stutter and did not even want to start and then it would backfire. Then a cloud of white smoke would come out. So I guess my water seal is done. Which means...Rebuild time. I have an N/A and will keep it as an N/A. But damn what a rough start to a day. Damn, I gotta find a rebuild kit.

So I found somebody to rebuild my engine...and as long as the engine is out I thought hhmmm why don't I port. DAMN! That is a great idea so maybe this is a blessing in disguise. So I am going to get a mild Streetport. We'll see what happens. The teardown starts tomorrow. Anybody wanna help? : )

Yeh make sure he warranties the motor or somethin...most reputable builders will warranty their motors.

Take down commenced and finished. I'll post pics a lil' later. It was kind of a pain because this is the first engine that I have ever taken apart but all went well. Now that everything is out I will probably change up all the hoses and little things like that also. I will be taking the engine to the person rebuilding my motor today and then its playing the waiting game. Damn I am fuc^*n stoked about this new motor! Can't wait to hear my baby GROWL(my car dosn't purr...Lol) once again...

Yup hopefully I'm crossing my fingers. We'll see who does a better job at rebuilding...Lol. The guy is actually going to let me take it apart so I can learn the ins and outs of the engine. It should be rebuilt and ready to rumble by the meet on the 22nd.

I should be there but i dunno if it's going to be in my 7.(How bout you lemme roll with you if my cars not done) While its out he's going to do something to my throttle body also. I am also going to get a new clutch and flywheel, and I am going to be removing all of the emissions. He is definitely going to trick it out. Hopefully I'll be pushing around 200+ to the wheels. N/A power!!! We'll see.
