***update*** with more information, since everything just got confirmed, we are locked in ladys and gentlemen.
Who - Everybody!
What - SYTFU 4th Annual BBQ with donations to the Children's Hospital
Where - The Alameda Naval Base (near the USS Hornet)
Address: 707 W Hornet Ave Alameda, CA 94501
When - Saturday, March 21, 2009, 1:00PM - End of the day
Why - Meet, Cars, Photo Shoot, People, FREE FOOD!
Yup, you heard that right, we are doing it again this year. Last year's events was successful thanks to the 250+ cars, 60+ motorcycles, stunters, and the gigantic crowd from all different forums who showed up to support our event. This year we're looking to make this one bigger and even better than last time; better yet, we are doing this years event with a great cause! We are accepting donations for the Children's Hospital - donations are not required but would be gladly accepted and forwarded on your behalf.. We can't do it without your support! Tell all your friends, crews, brother, sister, mom, dad, grannys, etc! If it gets rained out, we will move the event to the next available sunny weekend. Don't worry, we'll let you guys know ahead of time... we're watching different weather forecasts.
This is a SANCTIONED event by the Alameda Naval Base and the City of Alameda, so as usual, no drama, fighting, burnouts, unnecessary rev'ing, racing, etc... Anyone breaking any rules and causing our event to be at risk of termination will be asked to leave. There will be officers patrolling the area, so we ask you to please be on your best behavior for everybody's enjoyment!
WE HOPE TO SEE YOU ALL THERE!
**Things are still being discussed among SYTFU members, so things are subjected to change. We'll keep you guys updated!

show is free.... it is a charity drive tho, but that is up to you guys if you want to donate to the charity. for parking, just get in where you fit in.... unless you guys want designated parking spot, then everyone get together on who all is going and what times etc. and i will send one of you a registration form. then that will give you a designated spot, inside or outside depending on where you guys would like to be. the guaranteed spot will run the group 50 bucks, and that will hold your spot close to all the vendors, and in high traffic area. but like i said, that is just an option for groups etc. if you just show up and park where you can, that is welcome aswell.

I just got a pm last night saying that this event might fall through...Im a little pissy because i have this weekend set to the side...my friend changed her work schedule for this event, and also worked things out with her teacher so missing the class on saturday wouldn't effect her grade...
Now im getting notice that this may fall through due to some concerns,I hope this doesn't fall through...please post up-dates and keep us up to date as to what is going on for the March 21st
Cause as far as i understand there are ALOT of people ready to attend this event to either spectate or show or both...This sounds like a really legit event for a worthy cause and it would be a damn shame if things didn't work out

yea.. i feel ya teddy. a lot of people have already tooken days off work/class to attend this event but due to unfortunate mishaps and the time we have left to get things fixed is way too short. (6 days) Either a miracle needs to show up in the next few days.. or we will have to postpone the event. we'll have a definite answer by tonight, i'll keep you guys updated
