All I have to say is I've been going to organized street race crap in phoenix for a while now and are those kids stupid? Hell yes some are. There are a LOT of morons causing wrecks in races. Hell I've been in one, it was a fender bender but I learned why you dont race on busy streets in the day. Now the organized races I goto all occur in the middle of nowhere on back highwys or in business complex areas that close by 5 PM. No one is getting hurt by racing in these areas except people who choose to be there. When cars crash out there its there problem. Is this wrong? To me no its not, personally I think this is fine, no innocent people wander into these places where we race 10 miles out of the city at 12 midnight. Also when I said the kids there are stupid i mostly meant the honda guys, they have to do stupid **** going to the spots which cause problems, the kids with a brain take it easy and get somewhere before racing. Now when cops come out and start beating the **** out of spectators at the races on a stretch of road barely travelled even in the middle of the day..do I think thats wrong? YES. Thats bullshit, my friend got his face smashed into the ******* ground cause he was standing on the side of the road watching kids race. Also when the other racer gets thrown in prison for not being the one in the crash all I can say is what the ****. The person who wrecked made his choice to race its not the other racers fault someone got hurt or died. Some things do make sense, while the rest is just bull. The arguments of street racing really depend on many different factors, such as where and when it occurs etc etc etc.

Oh, and if you don't get caught...it is WAY cheaper to race street, not track.

I'm not really sure if anyone really cares for my opinion, but since thats pretty much all anyone here is posting, here goes...
1. The legality of street racing is a moot point, since it IS illegal.
2. Young inexperienced drivers will tend to get into accidents more than older more experienced drives who have more life experience/common sense/driving skill.
3.The track is an accepted/safer venue for showing off your car and driving skill. Also, there are ambulances on hand in case of any accident. I would accept the small fee to have a fun and safe night racing without worrying about a ticket or anyone getting hurt.
4. On the topic of "Ricers" this has become a blanket term. It used to mean someone who was driving an import vehicle, and was mainly coined by american muscle-car guys.I prefer to call an IDIOT an idiot. No bullshit about someone being a "ricer" because they drive a Honda. Driving recklessly is NEVER a good idea, no matter how you spin it.

Just my opinion. Drive safely Gentlemen.

shadowlife must be a republican.

btw, where's all the flaming? I've made multiple comments about political views, and I'm still unscathed. The west region's getting kinda dull.
