Steve will be coming out to San Jose a few days early. We have a slot open for friday. If anybody wants to be tune on friday, either let me know (if you are already on the list) or add yourself and mention about tuning on friday. Make sure you send the deposit in before the end of the month so I can send it to steve. Also send me your info like car spec, type of ecu, what kind on tune you want, and whether street or dyno tune. Be sure to prep your car before the tune. We don't want to waste steve's time on troubleshooting something else.

hrmm... i need to some how get my car in driveable condition so i can drive it to fremont.... anyone know how to tune a haltech to driveable conditions? i just had it installed and no one knows how to tune it.

We are about four weeks out from the tuning. There are three guys that i am waiting for their deposit. Remember that deposit is due on the 1st of June. If you know or think you will not be ready, please be courteous and step aside so someone who is ready can tune. Please also PM me your car information and which type of tuning you will be doing. Just to be clear. What maintenance and prep should be done before the tune?

1) Oil change
2) New spark plugs
3) ???

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

 

steve's suggestion below:

1. Bring cash to pay your remaining balance to Steve.

2. Stock turbos - get a second O/2 bung added to your downpipe and make it easily accessible.

3. Single turbos - Remove your O/2 sensor to make sure it's not siezed on there.

4. Change your plugs 1 day prior to tuning, and bring extra plugs just in case of fouling.

5. Change oil, fuel filter, clean air filters

 

Ahhh right, the cash. Almost forgot about that one .

 

You guys might want to register on my site so that I can review your modifications prior to tuning. Make sure to put in all of your mods in the "garage".
