Gotboost...

I got your email and sent a reply back to your email address. I am still up for getting tuned.

Do you want me to still send the $207 via PayPal or just bring it with me on Sunday?

Holla back...

***UPDATED INFORMATION***

I just spoke to the dyno facility guy (Jeremy) in Fremont to reconfirm this week's event. It is still a go and they are ready for us. The dyno price is $60/hr but it is NOT a pro-rate price. That means if it take an hour and 10 minutes, they will charge you for two hours. If it is forty-five minutes, then it will cost an hour. The clock will start when they finish strapping the car on and stop when they unstrap the car.

For the guys on friday, the time will start at 11 AM. Saturday and Sunday will start at 10 AM.

Hey Steve.

Hope you are doing well? I think Chris may have recently spoken to ya about these BNR stage III turbos.

I may fly you out this Fall or Winter (when your schedule allows) so you can tune the BNR stage 3s. We will see if we can get ~430 rwhp on my CYM. I'll pay ya well & buy you dinner at one of my favorite digs (absolutely kick azz French Dip sandwiches )

Take care my man. Cheers.

I updated the schedule a little bit. The only change is on friday between slot 3 and 4. I just swapped them. Pomanferrari could not make it after 1700 hours.

One more thing I want to mention. Please BRING YOUR OWN TOOLS and EXTRA PARTS!!! I do not think we can use the facility's tools. Bringing extra set of spark plugs is recommended. I had to swap out two set my last time around. Good luck everyone. I will be in my cym while insominiac will be in a silver fd. I will see you at the session.

Started at 290 and ended up at 311. Can't go higher because the stock boost control was not stable.

Yeah good **** on arranging this tune session. My car wasn't much in the beginning with the set up i got but he did all he could do. Beggining with 189 horses and ended up about 240 to the wheel. I will try to get some more money and get a Power FC and upgrade the turbo before Steve comes back in 6 months. Thanks again to Steve, Phong and gotboost. I forgot your name gotboost. I smoke way too much weed.

What a weekend. . We had a good turn out. For the most part, I think everyone was satisfy. There were some issues that on some of the cars while others exceeded expectations. Overall I think it was a success. Thanks everyone for coming out. The guys at RedZone were great. Thanks to Steve for coming out. He worked his butt off until the last minute before his flight back to Texas. I promise there will be a break time in the schedule between cars the next time he come out here. Chris and Phong, thanks for support. I couldn't do it without you guys.

Just wanted to voice my thanks as well to Steve and to all you guys that helped with the arrangements! This was already my 3rd tune with Steve, so I was just expecting a clean-up of the timing and such, but I ended up with a bit more power and drivability is even better now than it was before.

As a sidenote - The car was tuned before by Steve with an RX7Store resonated midpipe for about 338hp/275tq, and since then I added an SMB resonated midpipe with high flow cat, and it tuned for about 328hp, so for those that are wondering, the HFC results in about 10 less hp than a midpipe.

BTW, did anybody receive copies of the dyno print-outs or a record of the results? I totally forgot to grab one...

Thanks again,
Allen
