Smile Steve Kan tuning in San Jose - JUN 14th -15th

Back by popular demand, we're having Steve come back again this coming Jun for another 2 day tuning session in San Jose, so I just wanted to post this up for anyone that would like to get their cars tuned. Steve will be able to tune about 5 cars a day plus a stand-by if possible to get a total of 10 cars or more done that weekend. This will require a 200.00 deposit to secure a spot for anyone interested. Plus dyno fee from the dyno shop. As for a dyno shop, we are still working out details for that. At this time, it will be in Fremont, a shop called Spooling Performance. The rate is an $60/hr for the dyno. More info can be seen at their website at spoolinperformance.com.

I can start collecting deposits now via paypal, please send 200 + paypal fee = 207.00 to phong_le@pacbell.net

This is his pricing, so look below to see what you can expect.

Dyno Tuning Prices

$350 - Stock Turbo up to 12psi of boost (pump gas only) 1 map
$400 - Aftermarket Turbo up to 16psi of boost (pump gas only) 1 map
$450 - Aftermarket Turbo from 16psi - 25psi of boost (race gas and/or auxiliary injection only) 1 map
$600 - Aftermarket Turbo up to 25psi of boost (pump gas and race gas tune) 2 maps

On all tuning sessions there is a Non-refundable $200 deposit.
Time Frame

Stock Turbo - 45 mins - 1.5 hrs
Aftermarket Turbo (pump gas) 1hr - 2.5 hrs
Aftermarket Turbo (race gas and/or auxiliary injection) 2 - 4hrs
Aftermarket Turbo (2 maps) 3-6 hrs

The list so far are below and would like to cut the list at 10 people and have a couple of stand-by guys.

1. P.Ritchey
2. J. Cruz
3.
4.
5.
6.
7.
8.

forgot to mention that the deposit money will go to phong ( Insomniac). I am having issue with my paypal account. Phong is a well-known forum member and have setup the tuning session several times.

the deadline to turn in the deposit is not setup yet but most likely it will be in the mid/late may timeframe. I will

NO!!!!!!!!! I really want to have him tune my car again but my parents will be in from overseas that weekend. I don't think they'll be happy to have me sneak off for half a day for car stuff.

Screw it. Add me to the list please. The FD comes first!!! I prefer mornings so any day is fine with me as long as I can get a spot bright and early.

Thank you!

Edited - I just saw his email above.

200 is the deposit that will go toward steve's fee. depending what you planning to tune your for, the pricing from steve varies. check the list for prices. i did not make the list. those are steve's rates. on the other hand, the dyno price is independent of steve's rates. it will depend on the amount of time your car is on the dyno machine. the current shop dyno price is $60/hr. you can opt to do a street tune which ,of course, doesnt require a dyno. but street tuning involve more risk. feel free to ask questions if you have any.

just got my new site running. If anyone have tuning questions, scheduling, and FAQ on what to do prior to the tuning session. Please register yourself and ask me on my forum. I'm trying to make this easier for every group to schedule tuning session and also provide a place for EFI specific tuning questions.

Thanks Steve for the information.

We are about 6 weeks out from the tuning session. I like to start collecting the deposit money. Please send it paypal to phong_le@pacbell.net. Be sure to include the $6 paypal fee. I also would like to collecting your car's setup information so Steve can prepare for each setup. PM me the info asap.

There are a few slots left. Sign up and get your car tune by Steve. He is the man!!!

list

we have a few spots left on the main list. if you are not sure that you ready, i can put you on stand-by but that does not guarantee you. i have not set a deadline for the deposit yet. it will be around the first week of june. let me know if you want to be put on stand-by...

ok. tell the shop they have about six weeks left. haltech is pretty easy to setup. it took me less than a day to setup my haltech. the initial configuration of it is a pain though. which haltech are you running? there are some support on the forum here for haltech but steve would be definitely be the one you want to tune your the haltech.
