We can always put you on the standby list. I can't guarantee a tune, but it's possible if you want to hang out at the shop for a day or two.

My car is still not ready so there is a posibilty my spot might go up for sale (again) or if the friday guys want to come in early I might get bumped to last place if Steve has to look over my car.

Ok Guys listen up.

I need you to give me a call on Thursday evening or Friday etc.. just to confirm your spot for the tune. I am only going to be in town Friday and then Saturday Morning before I head back to AZ. Don't worry, I'll get things rollin and it's all easy after that.

My number is (602) 821-7307

Please do not call asking me questions that do not pertain to the tuning or what upgrades you should do to your car. Just make sure everything is in working order so save some hastle. =) But feel free to bring tools to tinker with your ride if it's not working properly.

If I do not answer, leave a voicemail with your REAL name and HANDLE on the forum. This way I can cross-reference.

Just let me know the situation.

Oh yeah, Don't call and tell me you want a refund either... or that your motor is blown.. frankly I have no sympathy for you, I'm on my 5th. =)

Cya Friday and Saturday...

You Sunday toons I might not see.. but I'll be sure and hear from Steve whether the funds were paid or not. I'm sure I can find some time to come to your door and dish out an *** beating.

Hope to hear good things and see lots of great numbers!

-Darren-

I paid the deposit on 9/19/06 which according to your posts put me #7 in line. On 9/28 I wrote that I was available all day on Sunday which meant at anytime! So now you bump me completely? To be fair you should bump #8 (who is on Saturday 4pm-6pm) and put me in that slot or Bump #9 (who is on Saturday 4pm-6pm). Let me know what day and what time to show up. I will call you on Tuesday 10/24/06 in the evening to confirm my time slot.

Just be there on Sunday and we'll get you in.

Steve can do more than 4 cars on Sunday, we should also be able to do a standby or two for some other guys.

I just posted that because you chose a slot that was already taken, after you put your name on the list I figured you wanted only that spot. But regardless, Sunday is fine. Just show up around noon or something and we'll fit you in. If anyone has made a deposit, then you'll get your car tuned. Unless for some other reason beyond steve's control it decides to not work =P

For the 121230123 time guys, these times are not a guarantee. Just make sure you show up at least an hour before your scheduled time.

RX7 8U - show up at Noon on Sunday, we'll be able to get your car done around that time.

Just remeber, you'll see me Friday if you're there, and some Saturday morning. I have to head back to AZ around noon on Saturday. Steve and all the other rotorheads will be there Steve has done this a few times, so he pretty much keeps it running. Just keep the cars on the dyno, and you'll be fine. Don't worry about 'your time slot' everyone who paid will get their car tuned if they show up!

Cya all this weekend.

Ok I'll be there around noon on Sunday. I would think my car shouldn't take too long with stock fuel system/TTs and everything is fresh including the motor.

I am leaving tonight so I should arrive around 11pm. I will see you guys bright and early tomorrow.
For those who are ono standby and wants to get tune, please be there on all three days. Chances are, I can fit you in within the schedule on one of those days but that all depends on how difficult everybody's car is.

You were the 11th guy to pay, just after jonboy. I spoke to you on the phone so just show up Friday and we'll get you in.

I talked to the guys at RR&R today and everything is good.

We can probably get another car or two in on Saturday but I don't want to guarantee that. It depends on how Steve and everyone else at RR&R want to run it.

Cya Friday.

I ended up with a peak number of 302rwhp@13psi. Not too shabby, but the torque curve is what impresses me. The Knightsports twins are at 13psi by 2500rpm, and at 2900RPM and above I have 200+lb.-ft. of torque.

Now I need an intercooler that doesn't get heatsoaked after every run, a twin power, more fuel and if Steve comes back in about 6 months I'd like to see what these turbos can do without a cat in the way, and at ~16psi (maybe with water/meth injection as a safeguard).

3 rotor had issues along with a nasty run in with a deer. Seemed to pull the highest #'s with the problems as well as 6500 revs max.

Overall the other cars there made some gains , some with more room to improve than others due to issues that were brought to light during the tune.

My own car had a broken solenoid that Louie and Ricardo fixed very quickly but ended up having issues with either the boost controller solenoid/computer or the solenoids that control the turbo system. My secondary turbo was just having huge jumps in the boost pressure as well as lagging.

Time was getting short so I didn't have time to have the adjustments made (removing the blitz sbc etc) so I just had the tune end there.

I was very happy with Steve's service although I don't think I got any gains (due to my car, not him) and I plan on returning next April (tentative date) for the next SK tune hopefully this time with car completely ready for the tune. I just had problems come up that I wasn't aware of already existing on the car.

I'll be bringing my car to RRR for work in the future since I was happy with those guys working VERY late on Sunday.

Last but not least, thanks to Darren and anybody else for getting this SK tuning session setup in the first place.

If anything I understand more of what I need to fix on the car so it was a positive experience.

^ hmm, you must have had the Greddy SMIC setup. DOn't forget to cover the hole on the side of the duct to the battery and replace the battery with an optima. The 51R with a turbojeff tray is a good choice.

I would have liked to retune but my problems are not solved. I should have taken my car to XS or Signal and had then install my single setup and maybe tune. Anyhow, I made 321rwhp @10lbs even with my A/F and fuel pressure problems.

Anyhow, to Steve for spending so much time on my car and helping me try to diagnose the mystery problem that still iludes me. Thanks to Luie for lending me tools and giving me a helping hand to. Allthough I am dissapointed I did not get monster power and a chance to compare my setup with a T04Z, I did get a safe base tune that is actually very fun. I think i'd have a few speeding tickets allready if I got tuned over 500hp "lol". thanks Steve
