Anyway, Saturday is all going to depend on Steve and Loui. If he doesn't want to keep the shop open too long saturday, then I am not going to force his hand.. haha.

I'll talk to him some more and see what is up. Friday would probably be better.

Can you guys fit another in? I'm running stock twins with modest fuel upgrades. Hopefully wouldn't take too long to tune. Also: during a street tune, I'm trying to understand how fast we'd end up going... standard procedure is to go WOT in 3rd gear up to redline, right?

There is still a Friday morning spot open. Can't one of you two take some time off of work?

^ did you pay? the last spot would have been first pay first get. There may be 1 or 2 people that have to back out and as Dhahlen said it maybe be possible to squeeze an extra car on sat or sun but you would be on stand by all day both days (waiting there). PM DHahlen and get an update, since he is handling it.

Just to be clear, the deposit is NOT the full cost of the tune.

You need to bring the other $150 to pay Steve, and $75 per hour for dyno time. Typically takes 1-2 hours.

Is it too late to sign up with Steve Khan tune session on Oct. 27-29? I'm willing to take any open spot available.

To answer the guy's question about how fast...depends on how much room you have on the freeway. When I last did my tune with him, we were easily over 120mph+ before traffic hit. Did this about 5 times on the 405. Then we raced a 911 Turbo and killed it. Steve is crazy. "Get the Porsche! Get the Porsche!"

That's badass So is that where the quote comes from? I thought PDViperxx had that in his avatar So you were at the top of 3rd gear then? I think I'm going to do a dyno tune instead to keep my *** out of trouble. Do you have any other thoughts on this? PM me if you have some things you'd like to share

Is anybody hangin out on tune days? Hooters is about a 1/2hr away to either one. I can bring my mini bbq and we can tailgate in the back parking lot. Oh but please, no drag racing nor excibition of speed that will bring the cops like at past (no more) RotaryXecret events.

I'm on standby, so I have to kind of sit around until I get a break in the action. Hell, I'll even bring some steak, cheese, onions, peppers and sourdough rolls. A cheesesteak sandwich sounds really good right now. Even some beer if we're allowed to drink there (perhaps discreetly). I don't know about going 1/2 hour to H00Ters tho. Kinda far. Mebbe there's a closer place. And about dragging/exhibition of speed: I hate it when people do that crap. All it takes is one idiot to ruin it for everyone else.

It was tuned last time by Steve. But due to a crapass rebuild it supposidly threw a bearing and has been sitting since the beginning of July. Don't have the funds to work on it and I'm actually putting strong consideration into selling it after the another engines goes in. (This would be the 5th in 3 years). It had nothing to due with Steve's tune, I was very satisified with the power I was getting when he was finished. The motor all the sudden lost oil pressure during boost (17psi with methanol) and still has compression, but chances are it's the bearing.. haven't pulled it apart to get the exacts.

Like I said.. Steve's tunes are awesome.. and even on the rich side for safety reasons. I believe I put out 487 last time at 19psi... running 9-10's for AFR across the board.
