^ please xplain Saturday? Is tuning being done "after" 7stock? If I get more stuff sold, then I can send a payment. Does anyone need to buy race gas?

Yes, there will be a select few cars tuned on Saturday following the main events of 7stock. Probably 3-4 cars starting around 2pm or so. I'd say it'd be the simple-to-tune cars. (I.e. Stock twins, bolt ons, power fc.)

Darren,
Good meeting you on Sunday, thanks for adding me to the list. And yes anytime on Sunday is good, closer to noon perhaps but I'll show up when you guys start so I can get those injectors in... or maybe just have my car towed to you guys. I'll have the necessary parts on my car by then thanks for advising. PM'd you.

Money sent - I'll take 1st Friday spot if possible?

Would like two maps:
1. Dyno base smog (lean on 15 & 25mph) 10lbs boost.
2. Street on pump gas (will use race gas though) maxing at 85% duty cycle.

Got it

YOu can run the tune details with Steve. But if it can all be done on one map, that is best.

So we got:

1. Slopoke
2. Hikaru
3. GoRacer

The more the merrier =) Need 10 to make it a final. We have plenty of time!

Just curious whats the downside to the way the tuning session is going to be held? I thought a dyno was just used for comparison and that having the same car on the same dyno before and after tuning would provide more accurate measurements.

Keep in mind I dont know much about dynos'.

Either way I am looking forward to this tuning session as my parts continue to trickle in.

Dhahlen, I sent you a PM a few weeks ago asking about tuning on Friday. I will be travelling with the AZ caravan on Friday and wanted to know how long tuning will last that day. I believe we usually get to the LA area at around 2-3pm. Is this possible or should I set up for another day?

Thanks,

Interested if ready

I'm very interested in having Steve tune my FD if I've got it back together and 500 miles on it by then. Hopefully I'll be dropping the new engine in this weekend.

Hopefully I can get a Friday am slot since I'll be busy setting up for SS9 Friday afternoon and coordinating the event Sat.

I'll stay tuned.

Mike.

Please post requested dates and times nex to your name.

I am going to allot two hours per vehicle, since most don't take any longer.

We'll start with the following slots:

Friday:

10am-12pm
12pm-2pm
2pm-4pm
4pm-6pm

Saturday

2pm-4pm
4pm-6pm

Sunday

10am-12pm
12pm-2pm
2pm-4pm
4pm-6pm

PLEASE NOTE... These times will vary depending on who's car is on the dyno. I figure we can do 3-6 cars on a full day (friday or sunday) and 2-4 on Saturday. I am doing this to get a set schedule, so please post requested time (IF YOU SENT A DEPOSIT) and we'll go from there.

Please only choose Saturday if it's not at all possible for you to make it Friday or Sunday.

I'll sort the schedule and keep a posting here.

Let me know the time you're looking for, and I'll insert your name for the slot. Deposits have been made in the order I've listed above, so time slots are on a first come first serve basis. Once again, these times will vary depending on your vehicle, so it's best to show up early.
