some jerk off hit my car

Decided to drive the FD to work today...walking to my car I noticed the center piece of my tail light was smashed. It must have been a lifted truck because there was no other damage. There are two lifted trucks on my street so I can pretty much narrow it down. I'll check out their cars tonight. I need to find a garage for this thing. So pissed.....

Sorry to hear man. On the bright side at least it didn't hit the paint or body.

I usually sell the center sections for around $50, so you should be able to find one for pretty cheap.

Because I'm a ninja...

I don't get off work till 5:30 and it's dark by the time I get home. I'll be in big bear all weekend so it doesn't leave me much chance of doing it. No big deal, my insurance is going to take care of it

I think I know who did it, There's a lifted f150 that the guy took off his license plate from the front so it's probably damaged from hitting my car....

Used tails cost like $50? Don't file it under insurance then.

Once you tell insurance, it goes into your cars record as an accident and will appear in a carfax etc

My 240 was involved in a hit and run * quarter panel damaged* and i told the insurance company *tho i had liability they pretty much said go fck yourself* and without taking the car to see anybody, got a wreck listed under it for that.

I'll bring the floor jack and wood blocks. We'll flip that truck on its side. Since it's lifted it has a high center of gravity already.
