SoCal 's monthly San Bernardino rotary meet: Second Saturday of each month.
Looks good Will. When I get the motor back, and I could always use help. thanks!!
This time I will be adding methanol injection to the car, and plan to run 450-500whp on pump gas. People are working with meth and it's awesome for rotaries. If you have the time make sure you read this thread!! Makes a lot of sense, and very interesting!!

^^^What I was reading in that thread made a lot of sense, specially when he showed his throttle body, and how clean it was from the meth he had been using. It cleans the motor, intake air ice cool(your intake manifold freezes). "Mazpower" and I had a long talk about this exact thing, adding meth to rotaries is magic with these motors. He is running around on pump gas, meth and 500whp.
I'm not really sure what boost I will be running, but I would love to see this motor last, and have 450-500whp. I have all the needed items to make the power and keep it some what reliable, I just need to add meth. I would take a guess and say about 20-23psi to be in that range.
What's funny is when you read about people that want more then that. The question is for that person is that "have you really been in a 500whp FD?" When I drove mine at 400whp at 15psi(which is very possible on pump gas alone), holy **** it's fast. Not only that you beat 99.9% of the cars on the street too. To put things in perspective, the new Z06 vette is 6.3lb/hp(curbweight/crank hp), a RX7 with 500whp base model FD 4.7lb/hp(curbweight/crank hp). Not to mention that the new ZO6 is an awesome CAR. Or you would have to own a 741whp Supra to compare to a 500whp RX7.
Check out this video of a 588whp rotary on pump gas with water injection ONLY! This car cannot stay on the road with all that HP!!!! =) LOL!!

It's an addiction of mine, "acceleration!" Nothing like feeling the G-force!!!

what kind of fuel setup are you going to do?

^^Yes it would be, but I took the vette crank HP and compared that to the 7 with crank HP.
Vette 505hp x 13% manual transmission = 439whp/3180lbs =7.2lbs/hp
FD 575hp x 13% manual transmission = 500whp/2700lbs = 5.4lbs/hp
Mustang GT500KR 3800lbs/470whp = 8.0lbs/hp
ITS A PIG!!!! I would rather have the vette over the GT500KR. Plus dealers are asking 120,000.00 for that car.

^^The Tec3r works awesome! If I had to do it over again, I would go with the Motec M2R(made for rotary motors from Motec). But in your case with a 4 cylinder it would work great. I have thought a few times about changing to the M2R, but I don't want to spend the money right now. But there are a few people that are using TEC3r right now that are 5-600+whp and doing fine.
Only thing I DON'T like is when I tune the fuel map, you CANNOT adjust the injectors individually. The 13B stock intake is not balance well. The front rotor tends to run lean on low rpm, and the rear rotor runs lean in the top end of the motor. It would be nice to adjust the injectors individually so you can fix this issue. Instead I have to run more fuel then needed to compensate.
But the coil packs that comes with the EMS are rock solid.
They put out enough spark to even fire foul plugs. When I put the new system in over the MSD boxes, what a night and day difference. No more cutting out, and fouling plugs!
I have seen the coils make a 2" arc from the wire to the body of the car with a snapping sound like a taser gun!! LOL!!

Good stuff Ryan. Glad to hear about the coil pack since I'll be getting rid of the dizzy. However, due to our manifold design runs slightly lean under boost on the 2&3 pistons. Def. something to think about though.
